Role of the Job Title: The Operations Assistant will play a key role in supporting SEED’s operations by ensuring smooth and efficient day-to-day processes. The position will provide direct support to the Operations team and collaborate closely with Procurement, Logistics, and Finance to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely delivery of services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide operational support to ensure that all activities are effectively implemented, accurate, and up to date.
- Assist in managing stock, assets, fleet, facilities, and equipment to meet organizational needs.
- Follow up with program teams to ensure timely submission of documentation, including Purchase Requests (PRs), Advance Requests, and Travel Requests.
- Manage cash disbursement in accordance with SEED’s financial policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including daily cashbooks and outstanding advances, in strict compliance with SEED’s advance procedures.
- Monitor office cash levels, initiate cash requests when required, and ensure availability for planned activities.
- Collect and deposit cash at the bank, serving as SEED’s representative for daily banking activities.
- Support the preparation and transfer of documents to field offices, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Maintain strong documentation, filing, and reporting systems in line with SEED policies.
- Provide follow-up on all operational needs to ensure timely and effective completion.
- Perform other duties as required or assigned by the supervisor.

Essential Criteria:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a professional environment.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Capacity to work effectively under pressure, with a strong commitment and flexibility to work extended hours when required.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain positive working relationships.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team environment.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer applications.
- Fluency in English, Kurdish, and Arabic.
- Good knowledge of the Kurdistan Region and its geographical areas.
