In December 2016 SEED launched a humanitarian campaign to aid survivors. With the help of The MLF French School, Fakher Mergasori School, The International School of Choueifat – Erbil, The Fig Club, Fingerprints Children’s Centre, and Babylon Media we were able to collect all necessary items to help newly arrived women, who have escaped ISIS, and their families get a new start.
The care kits include hygiene kits, blankets, children and adult clothing and coats. When SEED provides mental health and psychosocial support services we also provide for some of the survivors’ immediate needs.
You helped us collect humanitarian ‘care kits’ for 250 families!
Every woman and family that escapes ISIS has suffered terrible brutality. SEED provides comprehensive services to survivors of violence, conflict and displacement to support their recovery. We want to make sure that no survivor goes without the support she needs.
Thank you to all the organisations that participated in the collection campaign and we also want to thank Sha Post for providing free shipping of humanitarian donations collected by Fig Club in England.
